GRM (Gravity Reversi Masters, pronounced "Gram") is a trading card game born out of
にちょまん! (Nichoman!), a queer manga market in Tokyo's legendary Shinjuku 2-chome district. The game celebrates queer characters, queer stories, and the vibrant community of one of the world's most iconic LGBTQ+ neighborhoods.

The Game

How to Play GRM

GRM is a trading card game that's not only fun to collect, but also a fully playable strategy game. Gameplay is similar to FF14 Triple Triad and FF9 Tetra Master: take turns placing cards on a 3×3 grid, then use a card's weight to flip your opponent's pieces. Simple to learn, satisfying to master.

Set Up the Game

Build your deck however you like. No fixed deck size, but you can only have 2 of the same card per deck. The player going first starts with 2 cards. The player going second starts with 3 cards to balance the advantage.

Draw & Play a Card

Draw 1 card from your deck each turn, then place a card from your hand onto any empty space on the 3×3 grid.

Weigh & Flip

After playing a card, compare your card's weight against every adjacent opposing card. Any card that weighs less than yours gets flipped.

Activate Card Abilities

Activate your card's ability when applicable. Some abilities flip the game's tide. Only one EX card per player can be on the board at a time.

Claim the Board

Keep playing until the grid is full. The player who controls the most face-up cards wins.

When am I charged, and when does it ship?

Your card is charged in full the moment you place your pre-order, not a deposit. GRM First US Edition decks are scheduled to ship September 2026. If that date moves for any reason, we'll email you directly with the new timeline and the option to cancel for a full refund, no questions asked.

What if I want to cancel?

You can cancel anytime before your order ships for a full refund. Just email us at hello@queercraft.co and we'll take care of it, no hoops to jump through.

What's the neoprene play mat, exactly?

Every GRM deck ships with a play mat. The retail release gets a gloss paper mat. Pre-order it now and yours is upgraded to a custom-printed neoprene mat instead — a larger playing surface with original art that appears only on this mat and nowhere else in the release. It's an upgrade, not a bonus add-on, and it won't be sold separately once the pre-order window closes.

Will I get updates before it ships?

Yes. We'll keep you posted as we get closer to the September ship date, including any production updates worth sharing. No radio silence between now and when it lands on your table.

Is this a real, playable game or just collectible cards?

Both. GRM is a fully playable strategy game (see How to Play above) as well as a collectible line celebrating queer culture, artists, and performers. You're not just buying art, you're getting a game you can actually bring to your table.
